They aren’t as comfortable as the Axis braces but are a close second. I managed to get them on close out at a great price too. The K8 carbons I currently use are light, comfortable and have great adjustability. The Velcro wore out quickly and I ended up using straps from a pod brace set that a local shop had in stock. As with the K300 braces, the straps sucked.
I looked online and came up with nothing at the time. I had a minor crash that broke a couple of the strap loops on the left brace and no one locally could get replacement parts for some reason. The EVS Axis braces were by far the most comfortable and had the most adjustments for my legs. The straps were cheap and wore out quickly but that is about the biggest complaint I had. I can’t say for certain if they prevented any injuries but gave me peace of mind for many hours before I replaced them. The K300 braces were decently priced but had limited adjustability. I’ve used the pod K300, EVS Axis and currently the pod K8 carbon.
